Each IPFS node runs on a real machine with a public IP address, so we resolve it to its hosting network (ASN), operator and country — the same intelligence shown on any IP page. The hosting-network and country tables above rank where the nodes actually live.

Is a IPFS node IP address public?

Yes — decentralized networks like IPFS are public by design. A node must advertise a reachable address so peers can connect to it, so its IP is observable to any participant.
